Use Your Step Up Funds for Music Lessons

Step Up For Students EMA Marketplace Provider badge

Holt Studios is an approved Step Up For Students Marketplace provider. If your child has a Step Up scholarship, you may be able to put those funds toward voice and piano lessons with us — reserved directly through your EMA account.

Which Step Up scholarships can cover lessons?

Step Up For Students administers several Florida scholarship programs. The ones set up as Education Savings Accounts (ESAs) can generally be used for tutoring and instructional services — the category private music lessons fall under.

  • Family Empowerment Scholarship for Unique Abilities (FES-UA) — for students ages 3 through grade 12 with a qualifying diagnosis. Covers tuition and fees, homeschooling options, therapies, tutoring and more.
  • Personalized Education Program (PEP) — for K–12 students in parent-directed education. Covers tuition and fees, homeschooling, tutoring, instructional materials and more.
  • New Worlds Scholarship Accounts — for VPK and K–5 public school students who are struggling with reading or math. Covers tutoring, after-school and summer programs, instructional materials and more.

Eligibility, award amounts and approved spending categories are set by Step Up For Students, not by Holt Studios. Please confirm what your account covers inside EMA before you book. For full program details, visit stepupforstudents.org.
